In this TED talk, Michael Shellenberger goes over the facts and the truth of clean energies and their impact on the world. Solar energy seems to be rampant these days but in reality it is decreasing or has by 5 percent from 2013 to 2014. This starts to contradict the statement that we are in a climate revolution. According to Shellenberger, the only thing hurting the climate is our fear of nuclear power and that our fear is causing the climate crisis. Lots of our climate problems would be gone if we just go nuclear. Contrary to popular belief, Nuclear energy is the least wasteful form of energy next to wind, and Nuclear accidents are not caused by the machines but in reality the people getting scared while working on them. This is a global problem working toward a goal for to live on a sustainable, happy, earth. This relates to america because we could be leading this change with enough demand for nuclear power. I personally really liked this TED talk because i am very passionate about climate change.
